Bridging the gap in emergency care
Neilston and Uplawmoor Community First Responders was established with a singular, crucial goal: to provide immediate, life-saving emergency medical care to residents in our covered towns until the ambulance service arrives. In our rural service areas, such as Neilston and Uplawmoor, ambulance response times can sometimes be extended. We are here to bridge that critical gap, ensuring vital support is on hand when it's needed most and giving patients the best possible chance.

Empowering communities, saving lives
Beyond direct emergency response, our impact extends through crucial community initiatives. We supply and maintain a network of public access defibrillators, which are registered on a national database for easy location during emergencies. We also proudly offer vital CPR training to local community groups, equipping residents with the confidence and skills to act when it truly counts and potentially save a life before professional help arrives.

A vital part of your local community
What truly sets us apart is our deep integration and unwavering dedication to the local communities we serve. We see ourselves as an essential part of Neilston, Uplawmoor, Barrhead, Elderslie, Johnstone, and North Ayrshire. Our aim is simple: to ensure that every resident in these towns receives timely and vital emergency medical care whenever the situation demands it. We are your neighbours, ready to help, 52 weeks a year.
